Who is responsible

This website is run by the company named in the imprint, where you will also find the full contact details. If you have a question about your data, just write to us.

What happens when you visit

Our server records which page was opened and when, along with your IP address, browser and operating system. We need that to keep the site running and to find faults. We use it for nothing else.

We set no cookies of our own. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so opening a page sends nothing to anyone else.

Enquiry and booking form

The form is provided by our booking partner Create A Moment Ltd. in Auckland. It loads from their server once you open it and agree to load it, and at that point Create A Moment learns your IP address.

What you then enter (travel dates, pick-up and drop-off, driver age, preferred vehicle, name and contact details) is used by us and Create A Moment to prepare your quote and handle the booking. Nobody else receives it.

You are welcome to call or email us instead, then you do not need the form at all.

External content and your choice

Content from other servers loads only once you agree: the enquiry form and videos from YouTube. Without your consent you see a notice with a button to load it instead. Videos start only when you click them.

Your choice is remembered by your browser under the name chilli-consent. It is never sent to us. You can change it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

Statistics and advertising

If you agree in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel. They show us which pages get read and which ad led to an enquiry, and let us run relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google.

Google and Meta set cookies for this and also process the data in the United States. If you do not agree, nothing is measured: without consent these services never load.

You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings in the footer. More detail is in the privacy notices of Google (policies.google.com/privacy) and Meta (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

Your rights

You can ask at any time what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. A short message to the address in the imprint is enough.
